GrammarsBook.com: A Trusted Guide to Clear, Confident English
Who Are We?
Welcome to Grammars Book—where passion for proper grammar meets the everyday learner. Whether you’re a student struggling with sentence structure, a professional aiming to polish your writing, or an ESL learner trying to master the complexities of English, you’ve found a home here. My name is Rebecca Dieterman, a high school English teacher at Northern Michigan Christian School, and the creator behind this project. I built GrammarsBook.com with one mission in mind: to make grammar understandable, relatable, and genuinely helpful to anyone who wants to improve their English skills.
Our Story
It all started in the quiet corners of a Michigan classroom. Between correcting papers and answering questions like “Is it who or whom?” for the hundredth time, I realized that there were thousands more learners out there struggling with the same grammar hurdles. I wanted to create something more than just worksheets and lesson plans—I wanted to build a living, breathing resource that explained grammar like a friend would, not like a textbook.
That vision became Grammars Book. Since our launch, we’ve grown from a simple resource for my students into a trusted online platform visited by learners across the world. What hasn’t changed is our goal: to make grammar less intimidating and more empowering.
Our Approach
At Grammars Book, we go beyond rules. We believe grammar is more than a list of dos and don’ts—it’s the foundation of clear thinking and communication. That’s why every lesson, every article, and every guide we publish is designed with one goal: clarity.
We explain why grammar works the way it does. We use real-life examples, not just definitions. And we break down even the trickiest concepts into pieces that actually make sense. Whether you’re learning verb tenses, punctuation rules, or tricky clauses, we guide you step-by-step.
Our content isn’t about memorizing rules. It’s about understanding how language works—so you can use it confidently in real conversations, writing, and life.
What Sets Us Apart
Grammar is everywhere. But not all grammar websites are created equal. So what makes Grammars Book different?
- Expert-Backed Content
Every piece is crafted with years of classroom experience and deep language knowledge. As a certified English teacher with a degree from Cornerstone University, I bring educational depth and real-life teaching experience to every lesson. - Clear Communication
You won’t find overly academic jargon or confusing phrasing here. We explain things in everyday English—because that’s how real people learn best. - Real-World Examples
We believe grammar shouldn’t live only in grammar books. Our examples come from conversations, stories, and real writing situations so you can see how grammar actually works in practice. - Consistency & Care
Our lessons are thoughtfully structured, updated regularly, and based on the actual questions learners ask every day. You won’t get fluff—you’ll get value. - A Growing Community
Grammar doesn’t have to be a lonely journey. We’re building a place where learners help learners, where questions are welcomed, and where progress is celebrated.
Meet Our Team
Although Grammars Book began as a one-person effort, it has grown thanks to the help of passionate contributors, educators, and language enthusiasts who believe in the same mission: making grammar accessible to everyone.
Rebecca Dieterman
Founder & Chief Grammar Educator
As a high school English teacher at Northern Michigan Christian School in Marion, Michigan, I’ve spent over a decade helping students not only learn grammar—but learn to love it. I’ve taught everything from 6th grade English to AP Language and Composition, and nothing excites me more than helping someone finally “get” a tricky concept.
With degrees in English and education from Cornerstone University, and years of curriculum development experience, I understand the unique challenges both students and teachers face when it comes to grammar. That’s why I focus on explanations that are not only clear—but human. Because learning should feel like a conversation, not a lecture.
In my classroom and now on this site, I blend traditional grammar instruction with the needs of today’s learners—shorter attention spans, visual learning styles, and a desire for practical results.
Our Mission
At Grammars Book, we’re more than just a website. We’re a community. We’re a movement to make grammar learning easier, friendlier, and more effective.
Our mission is simple:
To help every learner—no matter their age, background, or starting point—gain the tools they need to write and speak with confidence.
We know that grammar isn’t always easy. But we also know it doesn’t have to be painful. With the right guidance, a little humor, and real-world examples, anyone can learn to master grammar.
We’re here to support:
- Students preparing for exams and school assignments
- Teachers looking for quality grammar materials
- Parents helping their kids with homework
- Writers polishing their work
- ESL learners who want to communicate clearly
- Curious minds who just want to understand how English works
No matter who you are, if you care about good communication, we care about helping you get there.

A Final Word from Rebecca
When I started this site, I didn’t know how many people it would reach. But I knew one thing: grammar deserves to be taught with heart. And learners deserve a space where they don’t feel judged or overwhelmed.
Grammars Book is my way of saying: you’re not alone, and grammar isn’t something to fear. With the right explanations and a little encouragement, anyone can learn to use English beautifully.
Thank you for being here. Let’s keep learning—together.
